Whatever path you choose to take on your raw journey, whether that means including a little or a lot of raw food in your current diet, one of the most important things to remember is to retain your balance. Often times people will have the notion that delving into the world of raw must be done a certain way in order to achieve any level of success. That is not necessarily true. There are no rules written in stone, and there are no raw police hovering nearby to knock you silly should you step pinky toe off of the so-called “raw wagon”. If you find yourself feeling restricted and tense about whatever passes your lips, then it may be time to stop and rethink a bit. Keeping eyes on a goal is a good thing, but any amount of negative emotion on the way to achieving that goal is not good. Eating is meant to be pleasurable as well as nourishing. If you do well by adding more raw food to your diet gradually, then do that. It’s perfectly fine. Discovering what works best for you is crucial.
